MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION
Clever Recycle rec bins are made from 16 gauge steel wire that is first arranged and welded into a square pattern, and then galvanized to limit corrosion. If that was not enough to protect the wire from corrosion, it is also coated with PVC in a variety of colors. In fact, the material is so corrosion resistant, it is intended for use in salt water.

The wire material is then custom cut and assembled by hand in the United States to create functional works of art. There is a combination of stainless steel and corrosion resistant fasteners holding these bins together.

The fact that there are no enclosed areas of the bin, allows it to breathe. This recycling bin weighs about 5 pounds empty and 15 pounds full. These products are durable but not indestructible. Handle with care. For safety reasons, use these items as they are intended and with common sense.
